Saturday Stories: Illustrator-led Workshops for Children & Families : Featuring Galia Bernstein

Presented monthly, Saturday Stories invites guest illustrators to lead children and their adult companions in a read-aloud and hands-on workshop relatedto the wide range of materials and processes that illustrators use to create their picture books. 

On Saturday, November 16, join children’s book illustrator Galia Bernstein. Each child will be led in creating and coloring their very own papercraft friend, which they will then get to take home. All ages 4 and up. 

About the Artist:

Galia Bernstein was born and raised in Israel before moving to New York to study illustration. Leyla is her second book as an author and illustrator. Her first book, I Am a Cat, received three starred reviews and has been published in 14 languages. Galia lives in Brooklyn.

RSVP required.
$25 covers admission and workshop for 1 adult + 1 child. Additional children are $10/each.
