My series includes selected pages from my immigration alphabet book. I developed and created this picture book in reaction to the xenophobia increasingly infecting American culture (especially heightened in 2016). I attempted to counter this toxic narrative by joyfully showing the varied rich contributions by immigrants in my own unique mixed media style.
