The art of Jack Neal Unruh (b.1935) has evolved considerably during his career, becoming increasingly linear and disciplined in drawing with more emphasis on texture and pattern. The son of an Air Force father, Unruh was born in Pretty Prairie, Kansas, and moved often during his childhood. He graduated with a B.F.A from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, having studied under Bob Cassel.
