Illustrators, please contact SI Sales Support online at email@example.com or by phone at 212-838-2560 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. eastern time Tuesday through Friday, and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. eastern time on Saturday.
Society of Illustrators allows you to make your purchases using any of the payment methods described below. Please read carefully our policies with respect to payment methods before you place your order.
Credit, Debit, and Check Cards
Whether you order online or phone in your order to Society of Illustrators, you may pay by credit, debit, or check card. When you provide Society of Illustrators with your card information, your account will be charged immediately after check out. Society of Illustrators accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB cards. Society of Illustrators requires the credit, debit, or check card security code for your card for any telephone or online purchase to protect against the unauthorized use of your credit card by other persons. The security code is an individual three- or four-digit number specific to your card that may be printed on the face of your card above the embossed account number (if American Express), or on the back of your card, on the signature panel (if Visa, MasterCard or Discover).
Society of Illustrators Gift Card
You can redeem a Society of Illustrators Gift Card in The Museum of American
Illustration gift shop in NYC, or by calling 212-838-2560. Society of Illustrators gift cards can only be used in our gift shop, not online.
In addition to the price of your purchases, Society of Illustrators will charge you sales tax based on your shipping address and the sales tax rate in effect at the time your order is placed. If you phone in your order, Society of Illustrators sales representative will provide an estimated dollar total of your order including tax and any applicable shipping charges at the time you place your order. If the sales tax rate for the state to which your order is being shipped changes before the product is shipped, the rate in effect at the time your order was received in Society of Illustrators system will apply. The proof of purchase that Society of Illustrators mails to you will include any applicable sales tax.
Society of Illustrators offers several convenient shipping options for domestic and international shipping.
UPS Ground: Orders within the United States are shipped via UPS Ground service and are normally delivered within five business days after shipment.
UPS 2nd Day Air: For an additional charge, Society of Illustrators offers this expedited shipping option for most products shipped within the United States. Products shipped via 2nd Day Air service prior to 5:00 p.m. EST are normally delivered by end of day two business days after shipment.
UPS Next Day Air: For an additional charge, Society of Illustrators offers this expedited shipping option on most products shipping within the United States. Products shipped prior to 5:00 p.m. EST via UPS Next Day Air are normally delivered by 3:00 p.m. in your local time zone one business day after shipment. Next Day Air delivery is not available for orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or international shipments.
UPS Standard International: For orders outside the United States, Society of Illustrators offers the most economical method of shipping international orders through UPS Standard. Delivery time of international packages will very.
UPS Worldwide Expedited: For an additional charge, Society of Illustrators offers this expedited shipping option on most products shipping internationally. Products shipped Worldwide Expedited service prior to 5:00 p.m. EST are normally delivered by end of day five days after shipment.
Please remember that these estimates are for time in transit only, and that they do not apply until the product leaves Society of Illustrators facilities. As the delivery of your order is beyond Society of Illustrators control once your order leaves Society of Illustrators facilities, Society of Illustrators cannot assume liability for late deliveries, regardless of the delivery method you specify.
The estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, and warehouse processing time and does not include transit time. Society of Illustrators will begin processing for orders placed on weekends or holidays on the next business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Your order for in-stock items that are eligible for same-day shipping must be received before 2:00 p.m. EST for there to be adequate remaining time in the day for your order to be dispatched.
Society of Illustrators endeavors to offer you competitive prices on current Society of Illustrators products. Your total order price will include the price of the product on the day of shipping plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges. Society of Illustrators reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at Society of Illustrators at any time and particularly to correct pricing errors that appear on the website. Should Society of Illustrators reduce its price on any shipped product within 10 calendar days of shipment, you may contact SI Sales Support at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 212-838-2560 to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. To receive the refund or credit you must contact Society of Illustrators within 14 business days of shipment.
Society of Illustrators makes every effort to ship your product within two business days of receiving your order (business days are Monday – Friday excluding federal holidays). If for any reason your order is not available for shipment by the end of two business days Society of Illustrators will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping estimate. Given the popularity of some products, Society of Illustrators may restrict the number of such items that you may purchase. Society of Illustrators will post limitations on quantity on the web site or will inform you of product purchase limits at the time it processes your order. Society of Illustrators reserves the right to change quantities available for purchase at any time. Society of Illustrators makes every effort to supply you with the products you order, but there may be occasions when Society of Illustrators confirms orders but learns that it cannot supply the ordered products, either at all or in the quantities ordered. These occasions can include when Society of Illustrators learns that the products no longer are being manufactured or otherwise become unavailable and can cannot be sourced, or when there was a pricing error at the time you ordered. In those circumstances, Society of Illustrators will contact you to inform you and, if you are interested, Society of Illustrators may suggest alternative products that might meet your needs. If you do not wish to order alternative products, Society of Illustrators will cancel your order for products that cannot be supplied and for any other products that you no longer wish to order as a result, and will refund your purchase price for those products.

What forms of payment do you accept?

How is sales tax calculated for my order?
If you live outside of New York State, you will not be charged any sales tax. For residents of New York, current rate sales tax will be added at the time of checkout.
How will I know that my order was accepted?
You will receive an email confirming your order to the email provided at check out. In addition, you can view your order at any time by returning to the store, clicking on my account and log in using the email address and password entered during checkout.

Are all products available online?
No. If you are in the New York area you can visit Society of Illustrators in The Museum of American Illustration at 128 E 63rd Street, 10065. The hours of operation are Tuesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday - Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Is my credit card information secure?
The Society of Illustrators assures the security of your credit card information with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is used for every transaction in order to ensure that your order is secure. As you enter your credit card number, SSL encodes it so it is transmitted in a format that prevents eavesdropping or data theft.
When purchasing online using your credit card, all of your information is entered into a SSL secure web page. Your information is then SSL-encrypted and sent directly to our credit card provider's network, where your card and transaction is authorized and approved. Your credit card information is not stored on our servers.
If you still do not wish to transmit your credit card details by Internet, you are welcome to place your order over the phone by calling the Society at 212-838-2560.
When is my credit card charged?
Items are charged to your card at the time your order is processed.

Can I Return merchandise purchased at online?

I would like to purchase a gift for someone. Can you send the gift directly to that person with a gift receipt?
Yes, you can ship an order to an address that differs from your billing address. If the order is a gift, we will make sure to send a gift receipt that does not include the price.
